    Whether you like driving, flying, being shuttled, or taking train rides, there’s an option for you to get to Winter Park Resort! Winter Park Resort is located in Colorado, approximately 67 miles west of Denver.

    Getting Around


    You’re here, you’re ready for your mountain adventure, but how do you get around? Lucky for you, The Town of Winter Park has a free, year-round shuttle service called The Lift. It’s the easiest way to get around and it’ll take you to-and-from Winter Park Resort, downtown Winter Park, Fraser, and Granby.

    Pro tip: Taxi and ride sharing (Uber, Lyft, etc.) in the area are typically not available

    Choosing where to stay is a key part of your vacation, and there’s nothing quite like being just steps away from outdoor adventure, shopping, dining, activities, and The Gondola. We have a variety of slopeside lodging for your convenience. Options range from condominiums to hotel rooms. Offering full kitchens, balconies with mountain views, hot tubs, heated pools, and much more!

    Lift Tickets

    If you're planning on skiing or riding, to get up the mountain, you’ll need a lift ticket. A lift ticket provides access to all Winter Park Resort lifts, that includes the Gondola. A lift ticket is required for all ages. Save when you book in advance! Winter Park Resort offers a variety of tickets and passes to fit your needs.

    Pro Tip: If you're not skiing or riding but still want to go up the mountain, we offer Scenic Gondola Tickets.

    Ski & Ride Lessons

    Led by expert instructors, Ski + Ride School lessons are a great way to break bad habits, discover new techniques, and take on new terrain. So whether you’re new to the slopes or not, we highly recommend booking a lesson to ensure you have an enjoyable first day on the mountain. And hey, you might even make some new friends!

    If you don’t have your own gear, you’ll need to rent some. Winter Park Resort makes renting easy, and save the most when you book in advance!     Gearing up for your trip

    You have your slopeside lodging booked, lift tickets reserved, rentals secured, and lessons and activities planned, now you’ll need to pack for your winter mountain vacation! Climate in the mountains can change within minutes, so it’s always good to be prepared and pack enough layers.

    Pro tip: Avoid cotton while being active, pack layers, bring sunscreen, and stay hydrated!
