Lift Tickets and Passes
Your trip to Winter Park and over 3,000 acres of pristine Rocky Mountain terrain is around the corner. Leave nothing to chance and visit our Hours of Operation or Mountain Report for the most up-to-date information on lifts, trails, and more.

Day Lift Ticket Validity:
1 Day: ticket only valid on the selected date.
2 Days: tickets are valid 2 out of 3 consecutive days beginning on your selected date.
3 Days: tickets are valid 3 out of 5 consecutive days beginning on your selected date.
4 Days: tickets are valid 4 out of 6 consecutive days beginning on your selected date.
5 Days: tickets are valid 5 out of 8 consecutive days beginning on your selected date.


Day Lift Ticket Pickup:
For ticket pickup, and any questions you have upon arrival, visit one of our ticket pickup kiosks. One is located at the Winter Park base, next to the Balcony House
, across from the Gondola. The other is at the Mary Jane base, across from the Super Gauge lift.

Receiving Your Ikon Pass or Winter Park Season Pass
After you purchase an Ikon Pass or Winter Park Season Pass, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your purchase. If you do not receive this email or don’t see the purchase go through on your credit card, please check your junk/spam folder. If the confirmation email still is not found, email us at info@ikonpass.com.

If you are a new pass holder for the 23/24 season, you will need to set up your account. If you elected not to upload a photo at time of purchase, you will be emailed instructions on how to update your customer profile and upload your photo. If you did not sign a release of liability when you purchased your pass, you will be sent an email requesting your signature. Every skier or snowboarder in your family with an Ikon Pass or Winter Park Season Pass must have a photo, release of liability, and valid mailing address to receive their pass. All passes will be mailed during the fall before the start of the 23/24 season.

Blackout Dates
The Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, and Winter Park Season Pass have no blackout dates.

Winter Park Midweek Pass Blackout Dates:
December 18 - December 29, 2023; January 15, 2024; and February 19, 2024.

Ikon Session Pass Blackout Dates:
December 26 - 31, 2023; January 13 - 14, 2024; February 17 - 18, 2024.
Flex Lift Tickets Details:
Flex tickets activate when you scan on the first day of your trip.

Flex 2- Grants you 2 out of 4 consecutive days from the date you scan your ticket.
Flex 3- Grants you 3 out of 5 consecutive days from the date you scan your ticket.
Flex 4- Grants you 4 out of 6 consecutive days from the date you scan your ticket.

Blackout Dates:
Standard Flex Lift Tickets: December 26-31, 2023; January 13-14, 2024; February 17-18, 2024.
Midweek Flex Lift Tickets: Saturdays and Sundays all season; December 26-31, 2023; January 15, 2024; February 19, 2024, March 11-15, 2024; March 18-22, 2024.

- Flex Lift Tickets are not transferrable and are only valid for the 23/24 season.
- Regardless of when you activate your Flex Lift Ticket, you cannot use them on blackout dates.
- Riders can access terrain serviced by the Super Gauge, Gondola, and Explorer lifts*.
- Early Ups allows for early access only. A pass or full-day lift ticket is also required.
- Lifts will open at 8:30 AM on weekdays and 8:00 AM on weekends.
- There are no blackout dates with Early Ups add-ons.
- Early Ups is available as an add-on for all ages.
- Limited quantities available for season pass and daily add-on.
- Only intermediate and advanced terrain can be accessed during this time.

*This product allows for early access only. A pass or full-day lift ticket is also required. This product is available for use on these lifts only, as they open.
Winter Park & Ikon Pass holders receive up to 10 Friends & Family tickets to share with their crew throughout the season. These tickets are valid for up to 25% off regular-priced day lift tickets. Visit our Share and Redeem page to learn more.

Further Details
- If you rent from Winter Park Resort, please arrive to your rental fitting at least one hour before your lesson starts.
- Lunch is only included for Kids group lessons.
- Kids Medicine: Instructors can carry any medication or EpiPens in specially marked packs upon request. Parents must complete a form with specifics about the medication. Instructors cannot administer medication. Instead, they will call Ski Patrol if the child cannot administer it themselves.
Private Lesson Meeting Times
Half-day morning lessons meet at 9:00 AM and run from 9:15 AM - 12:15 PM.

Half-day afternoon lessons meet at 12:45 PM and run from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Full-day private lessons meet 9:00 AM and run from 9:15 AM - 3:15 PM.

Guests must arrive dressed and ready for their lesson.

Private Lesson Form
After purchasing a private lesson, follow the attached link to fill out the required information for each participant and complete the online liability waiver. You will also have the ability to request a specific instructor.

If you rent from Winter Park Resort, please arrive to your rental fitting at least one hour before your lesson starts.
New to Winter Park this year is our 60-Minute Pro Tips lesson, an hour-long lesson for only $99 that gives you one-on-one instruction and early lift access from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.

60-Minute Pro Tips Lesson Time
Lessons run for an hour from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM and participants must arrive 15 minutes before the lesson starts.

60-Minute Pro Tips Ability Level and Instruction
Skiers and riders must at least be comfortable on blues to participate in 60-Minute Pro Tips.

General Details
-If you would like your child to be in the same class as a friend or family member, we will do our best to keep them in the same group, provided they are the same age and ability. Please bring them together to check in.
- The only way to request and guarantee an instructor is to purchase a private lesson.

Attendance Policy

Lessons begin promptly at their scheduled times. Any child that arrives late will not be allowed to join their lessons for the day and will not receive a make-up lesson.

If the participant misses the first lesson of their intended session, they will not be allowed to attend subsequent lessons during that session. Instead, they will have the option to enroll in regular group lessons or join a different session at a later date.One makeup lesson can be offered per session only with a doctor's note. Any other absence will not warrant a make-up lesson or partial refund.

To receive a makeup lesson, please email kprograms@winterparkresort.com and attach your doctor's note. Makeup lessons entitle the child to a regular full-day group lesson on any date during the season. You must schedule the makeup lesson at least 72 hours in advance and it is subject to availability.

Waitlist Policy
We will not run a waitlist for sold out sessions. We recommend signing up for another date.

Lunch
Lunch is included with Multi-Day Kids lessons. We serve kid friendly food: pizza, mac and cheese, chili, pasta, etc. Meals vary daily.

Medication

Instructors can carry any medication or EpiPens in specially marked packs upon request. Parents must complete a form with specifics about the medication. Instructors cannot administer medication. Instead, they will call Ski Patrol if the child cannot administer it themselves.

Lesson Reservations
- We cannot guarantee walk-up availability for lessons, so complete this pre-book form to reserve your spot. You can also save time by completing your waiver online before you arrive.
- Lessons purchased in a lesson pack can be used at any point in the season.

Lesson Validity
- Lesson packs are only valid for group lessons.
- Kids’ lesson packs are only valid for full-day lessons.
- Unused lessons are not eligible for refunds or transfers during the 2024/2025 season.

Lesson Transferability
- Guests can transfer lessons to friends and family members.
- Guests can use multiple lessons on the same day (you and your friend or family member can use a lesson on the same day).

General Information
- All clinics are skiers only except for Breakthrough Women's only.
- All clinics are six hours and take place from 9:15 AM - 3:15 PM.

Trees and Steeps Clinic:
skiers must be comfortable with blue runs and un-groomed terrain.
Moguls: skiers must be comfortable on blue to double-black terrain.
Breakthrough Women's Clinic: All levels of skiers and snowboarders are welcome. *Women skiers only*

Clinics require booking at least 72 hours in advance.

We offer telemark lessons to anyone who wants to free their heel and combine the elements of alpine with nordic skiing. You'll learn solid fundamentals, perfect lunge turns, and increase your versatility on the mountain. Please contact Private Lesson Center directly at 970.726.1554. Winter Park Resort does not offer Telemark equipment rentals.
Group Lessons
Visit the registration desk in the West Portal Rental Shop to reschedule for a future date. Late participants can not be added to classes.

Private Lessons
If you run late for a private lesson, contact the Private Lesson Center at 970.726.1554 ASAP. Your instructor will wait for your arrival but lessons will not exceed their scheduled end time.

Skills Clinics
Visit the registration desk in the West Portal Rental Shop to reschedule for a future date. Late participants cannot be added to classes.

Kids Multi-Week Lessons
Late Policy: Participants who arrive late will not be allowed to join the session.

Make-up Policy: Participants are limited to one makeup lesson with proof of a doctor's note. All other absences are nonrefundable. To receive credit for your makeup session, email kprograms@winterparkresort.com. You must schedule makeup sessions 72 hours in advance (subject to availability).
Are rentals and equipment included with lessons?
No, lessons do not include rentals and equipment. Though, you have the option to purchase a rental package at a discounted rate as an add-on with First Time lessons. Lesson participants must arrive to their lesson with the required equipment.

Are lift tickets included with lessons?
No, lift tickets are not included with lessons. Though, you have the option to purchase lift tickets at a discounted rate when you enroll in a lesson (except for 60-Minute Pro Tips). A valid lift ticket or pass is required to participate in a lesson.

What equipment do I need for my lesson?
- Working ski or snowboard equipment.
- Helmets and eye protection (goggles or glasses). *All rentals from Winter Park Resort include a helmet*

Can skiers and snowboarders be in the same lesson?
No, we do not offer multi-discipline lessons. Lesson participants must be of the same ability level, age group, and discipline (ski or snowboard).

Can anyone take a lesson?
Yes, our expert instructors can accommodate all skill levels.

Why do I need to prebook a lesson?
Lessons sell out quickly. Prebooking your lesson not only solidifies your spot. It also gives you access to the best rates. You must book lessons at least 72 hours in advance to book online.

When should I arrive for my lesson?
You should arrive at your designated lesson meeting point prepared with all required equipment at least 15 minutes before its starting time.
Rentals

What's included with my rental?
Ski rentals include skis, poles, boots, and a helmet. Snowboard rentals include a snowboard, boots, and a helmet. Clothing is not included with rentals.

Are lessons included with rentals?
No, you must purchase lessons separately from rentals. We highly recommend booking lessons in advance due to availability and the potential to save.

Are lift tickets included with rentals?
Rental orders do not include lift tickets. To purchase lift tickets, visit our lift ticket page.

Can I rebook my rental package for a later date?

- You may rebook rentals without rebooking fees until 9:00 AM the day before your scheduled date. Price differences apply.
- For requests to modify your rental package after 9:00 AM the day before your rental start date, email rentals@winterparkresort.com.

Please Note: Clothing is not included with rentals, nor is it available to rent.

- Pick up for Junior packages takes place at the Winter Park or Mary Jane base.
- Pick up for Beginner packages only takes place at the Winter Park base.
- Pick up for Standard packages takes place at the Winter Park or Mary Jane base.
- Pick up for High Performance packages only takes place at the Winter Park base only
- Pick up for the Premium package takes place at the Winter Park or Mary Jane base.

Premium rental guests will receive a text or email to confirm ski/board preferences and pick-up location.
Beginner, Standard, High Performance and Junior rental guests will receive a text message informing them of their specific pick-up location prior to their arrival date.
Overnight Storage
We are pleased to offer convenient free overnight storage to all rental guests at both base areas.

- Winter Park base: Drop off your equipment with the attendant in front of West Portal. Take care to use the storage at the Winter Park Resort Rentals guestdrop offand not the public Ski Check.
- Mary Jane base: Visit the rental shop for overnight storage.

Equipment Swaps
If you need a different boot size or binding adjustment, visit the shop where you received your equipment during the day for an easy swap. Premium Rental guests can swap gear as many times as they like throughout the day at either Zero Creek Gear House of Mary Jane rentals.

Additional Support
Carefree Cancellation
Travel plans change. That's why we offer guests Carefree Cancellation with every booking. You can cancel all lift tickets, lessons, rentals, and activities for a full refund up to one week before your arrival.

In addition to being able to cancel lessons penalty-free up to seven days before the product start date, guests can rebook for later in the season until 9:00 AM the day before arrival. There is no rebooking fee but price differences apply. Purchases become nonrefundable seven days before arrival.

Guests who unable to use the purchased product during the current season may request a resort credit to use within the year. Requests for modifications to dates and/or packages after 9:00 AM the day before arrival can be requested by emailing kprograms@winterparkresort.com.
