Winter Park is pleased to partner with the National Sports Center for the Disabled and positively impact the lives of people with any physical or mental challenges through quality adaptive recreation programs in over 20 sports, including alpine skiing, snowboarding, and ski bike lessons.
Lessons only include instruction. They do not include rentals or lift tickets. A lift ticket or pass and ski or snowboard equipment is required to participate in a lesson.
The Learn to Ski Guarantee (the “Guarantee”) is a limited guarantee offered during the 2024/25 Season (“Season”) when ski and snowboard lessons are booked directly through Winter Park Resort’s Ski and Ride School (“Ski School”). The Guarantee applies only to entry level skiers and riders who register for three (3) beginner level lessons with Ski School in the same season.

GUARANTEE: The Learn to Ski Guarantee means that an eligible Guest will progress in his/her skiing or riding ability in three (3)Ski School qualifying lessons in the same season, on designated Green Run(s), by the completion of their third (3rd) Qualifying Lesson. An Eligible Guest will be provided a complimentary fourth (4th) lesson, if in the opinion of the Ski School that the eligible Guest has not progressed at a satisfactory rate of progression.

QUALIFYING LESSONS: For purposes of this Guarantee, qualifying lessons are those booked directly with the Resort and including all entry level and beginner (defined as PSIA level 1-3 lessons) standard ½ or full day group and private lessons.

FREE LESSON: If, at the completion of the 3rd Qualifying Lesson, a Guest does not exhibit, to the satisfaction of their Ski School instructor, P.S.I.A. Level 2 - 3 skills and techniques, they may, in accordance with these Terms, redeem a 4th comparable lesson for free (“Free Lesson”). Free Lesson consists of one (1) full or ½ day lesson, comparable to what the guest had already taken, and only includes instruction and lesson taxes. Guest must provide equipment rentals, lift access, and all other costs, fees and expenses. Free Lesson may be given on any green run at the Resort in the Ski School instructor’s absolute discretion. For purposes of this Guarantee, the Free Lesson: (i) has no cash value and may not be refunded, replaced, substituted or redeemed for cash or otherwise for any reason, (ii) cannot be transferred or assigned in whole or in part, and (iii) will be void and not rescheduled if Guest cancels, misses, forgets or for any reason fails to otherwise properly, promptly participate in whole or in part in the Free Lesson as scheduled, or otherwise fails to avail themselves of the Free Lesson.

TO REDEEM FREE LESSON: Guest must visit Ski School, in person, immediately following the completion of their 3rd Qualifying Lesson to schedule the Free Lesson. Free Lesson must be used in the same Season. If Guest fails to book immediately following their third qualifying lesson, the Free Lesson will be forfeited. No exceptions. There are no blackout dates for Free Lesson, but is subject to availability at time of booking. If Guest, for any reason, fails to avail themselves of the Free Lesson, it will be forfeited and not (re)scheduled.

GENERAL: This Guarantee is redeemable one-time only per Guest, is personal to each Guest, and cannot be transferred or assigned in whole or in part to any other Guest.

Winter Park Resort reserves the right to cancel or refuse the Guarantee to anyone due to actual or suspected deception, or unauthorized, invalid or ineligible participation. Winter Park Resort reserves the right to terminate, cancel or modify the Learn to Ski Guarantee, these Terms or any element thereof at any time without prior notice; and as applicable will apply such action proactively and not retroactively. In the event any provision of these Terms conflict with the provisions of any other terms applicable hereto, these Terms shall govern. By redeeming the Free Lesson, you agree to be bound to the Resort’s decisions and interpretations, which are final and binding. This Guarantee is void where taxed, prohibited or restricted by law, and to employees of the Resort.
