Ride the Gondola for FREE starting at 4pm.
December 10, 2026 - April 3, 2027 Thursdays - Saturdays.
Additional daily holiday dates December 26 - 31, 2026.
Additional daily spring dates March 14 - 17, 2027.
Last ride up the Gondola is at 7pm.
Christmas Eve (Dec 24) will require a reservation for the buffet dinner.
No après on Christmas Day (Dec 25).

A: No. The Gondola is free after 4pm when Mountaintop Après events are scheduled. All events are subject to change.

A: Guests will take the Gondola to get to The Lodge at Sunspot. Or, ski in! Finish your day on mountain and ski to The Lodge at Sunspot. All guests must download the Gondola leaving après. Downhill skiing after 4pm is not permitted and may result in a loss of ticket or pass.
Q: Is the Gondola wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, The Lodge at Sunspot and the Gondola are wheelchair accessible. Please ask a lift attendant for assistance when loading the Gondola if you are unfamiliar with loading procedures. Please note, there is a short unpaved distance from the top of the Gondola to the entrance to the Lodge at Sunspot.
Q: Where do I park to access Sunspot Mountaintop Lodge?
A: To access Sunspot, guests must ride the Gondola. The closet parking to the Gondola is in the Village Parking Garage. This is a paid lot and a short walk. View our parking map and base map here.
