REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 1, 2023

The Bucket Banked is a banked slalom snowboard race and fundraiser held in the memory and spirit of Grand County native and Winter Park Competition Center alum, Ben Lynch. Join us April 8 for the inaugural banked slalom snowboard event and silent auction. Proceeds to benefit the Grand Foundation’s H.O.P.E. Fund (Healing Opportunities through Prevention Efforts). The H.O.P.E. Fund is dedicated to supporting and expanding Grand County mental health advocacy and services, substance abuse prevention and recovery services, and access to outdoor recreation as a protective factor to support mental and physical well-being. Through event entries, silent auction, and donation match from Winter Park, the event raised nearly $16,000 for the H.O.P.E. Fund in 2022.

What is a banked slalom race? A banked slalom is a snowboard race held on a curvy course, with tight banked turns. One racer runs the course at a time, and each racer gets two runs. Best of two is the time used for final results.
