This summer, discover something new at the top of Winter Park Resort. Ride the scenic gondola to the summit and explore our Alpine Fairy Trail, an out-and-back woodland path where small, nature-inspired installations hint at a tiny world living alongside our own.
Located on the Lower Roof of the Rockies trail and designed to spark curiosity and quiet moments of discovery. The trail invites guests of all ages to slow down, look closer, and experience the forest in a new way.

Additional Details
- Access to the trail is via the Scenic Gondola, the fairy trail is located on the Lower Roof of the Rockies trail.
- There is no cost to access the Alpine Fairy Trail aside from Scenic Gondola access - required.
- The trail is 2.75 miles, roughly 1.5 - 2 hours.
- We recommend starting the trail no later than 3pm (Sunday - Thursday) or 5pm (Friday & Saturday) to enjoy the full length and be able to ride down on the Gondola by 5pm or 7pm.
- The trail is NOT accessible via stroller or ADA accessible.
- There is no cost to access the Alpine Fairy Trail aside from Scenic Gondola access - required.
