Start your 4th of July celebration right and join us in beautiful Winter Park, Colorado, for the Rendezvous Run for Independence 5k Run/Walk.
The 5K run/walk starts at Winter Park Resort, at the Gondola Plaza / Gondola Bus Circle. Competitors will wind their way down the beautiful Fraser River Trail, through green forests and open valleys, through the Town of Winter Park, and, finishing at the Rendezvous Event Center.
The Rendezvous after party will include refreshments, awards, and prize giveaways at Rendezvous Event Center.

Friday -July 3 9:00 am-4:00 pm | Packet pick up at Winter Park Information Center (78841 U.S. Hwy 40, Winter Park, CO 80482)
Saturday -July 4, 2026 7:00-8:30 am | Packet pickup and registration at the Gondola Plaza. Parking will not be at the Gondola Plaza. No registration/packet pick-up after 8:30. 9:00 am | Race Start
Race Day Shuttle
A Lift shuttle will be running from the Winter Park Transit Center to Winter Park Resort from 7:30 am - 9:00am on race day (July 4, 2025).
Hop on The Lift (Hideaway Park Southbound Stop) and catch a free ride to Winter Park Resort or stop for lunch somewhere downtown.
This schedule is subject to change so keep checking back for additional information, ticket prices, and new event protocols. We hope to have more information about this event posted soon!
T-Shirt Information
T-shirts will be available to those who registered on or before June 20. Participants who registered after June 20 will be given t-shirts on a first come first served basis. Sizes are not guaranteed.
Parking Information at Winter Park Resort
On race day, If you are planning to park at the resort and not use the race day shuttle, please plan to park at the Vintage Parking lot, Village parking garage, or North Bench lots. All lots are free in the summer. rich-text, responsive-table
