    • VISITING TEAMS POLICIES

This section outlines the key policies visiting teams need to know—from safety requirements and on-hill oversight to weather-driven adjustments and how cancellations or rescheduling are handled. These guidelines help keep training efficient, predictable, and focused on what matters most: fast skiing.
      Safety Policies for Visiting Teams

Helmets are required for all athletes.

Coaches are responsible for lane safety, athlete traffic management, and monitoring weather and snow conditions.

Any concerns should be directed to the Race Crew Foreman or Alpine Program Director, Mike Bowman, before training.

      Email:mbowman@winterparkresort.com
      Phone: (970) 726-1597

Additional safety fencing is available upon request.

      Training Adjustments & Cancellations

Winter Park may adjust, move, or cancel training sessions based on weather, snowpack, grooming or operational requirements, and overall safety considerations.

If a camp is canceled for operational reasons, reservation fees may be refunded in accordance with the current cancellation policy.

      Program and Fee Policies

Reservation fees for Competition Center programs are non-refundable, except in cases where Winter Park cancels the camp.

If training dates are changed and your team cannot attend, you may be eligible for a refund as long as the cancellation is made within the required timeframe (for example, at least seven days before arrival).

Training fees are typically due prior to arrival, and any roster changes should be submitted at least 48 hours in advance.

Refunds on training fees are not issued unless a request is submitted by email at least 24 hours before your first on-snow day.

Lodging cancellation policies are managed separately by the lodging reservations team.
