Hello Slope Style Skiers!
We're stoked to welcome you to the return of the Winter Park Free Ski Open — back after nearly 20 years! Join us this April 19, 2025, at Winter Park Resort for a legendary showdown in the Lower Rail Yard zone as we bring this iconic terrain park event back to life.
Event Overview
Location: Lower Rail Yard Zone, Winter Park Resort
Setup: 2 sets of rails above Jump 1
Format: Best of Two Runs – Highest score counts
Bragging rights + Cash prize purse up for grabs!
Bib Pick-Up: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Location: Competition Center Office (Balcony House at the base of Winter Park Resort)
Important:
Bibs must be worn during practice and competition.
No Bib = No Practice or Competition
Return your bib to a Park Crew member after the event. A $50 fee will apply for unreturned bibs.
Mandatory Safety Requirements
Helmets are REQUIRED for all participant.
If the event is canceled due to weather or conditions, registration fees will be refunded.

10:45 AM: Riders Meeting (Top of Course)
11:00 AM: Run 1

12:30 PM: Course Maintenance
1:00 PM: Run 2

4:30 PM: Awards Ceremony at Base Area
(Any timing changes will be announced at the Rider Meeting)
