Leave straight from our locations, no long van rides to the trail
Highest groomed snowmobile trails, Largest play areas & Powder Meadows. Lots of Fun!
You will drive a deluxe Polaris snowmobile which provides both luxury and performance. Or a 4-stroke Yamaha Phazer and Venture Lite better for the environment using less fuel, has no fumes and is easier to ride.
At Grand Adventures, you have the unique opportunity to choose from a wide variety of snowmobile activities (guided or unguided). We do everything possible to assure a safe and enjoyable experience. However, because of the inherent risk involved with this type of outdoor activity, your participation is "at your own risk". We strongly recommend guided snowmobile activities for the beginner to intermediate riders and those with teenage drivers. You must be 16 years old to drive and 18 to carry a passenger.
Our staff of professional guides know how to customize each tour based upon the conditions and the group to “maximize” your snowmobiling and Colorado experience. Each of our guides is in constant radio communication with our base facility. We assign no more than 8 machines to one guide. All our guides are fully trained in first aid, CPR and back country Snowmobiling expertise. Our guides have excellent understanding of the area. You'll be in superior hands and will have a memorable experience.
For the advanced snowmobile rider, our rentals and staff of factory trained technicians have the latest in mountain performance and luxurious touring sleds ready for you. We will cover machine operation, map orientation and safety tips with each group before your departure.
What to wear snowmobiling:
Dress in layers. Bring ski wear, gloves, goggles or sunglasses. Also, neck gator, scarves and or face mask are nice to have. Boots and DOT certified helmets are provided. Don't forget a camera, sunscreen and bottled water. We do have some items for sale on site.
GUIDED ADVENTURE TOURS (Continental Divide Tour)
Our most popular tour is also Grand County’s only adventure tour to the Continental Divide. The tour is for all abilities on wide regularly groomed trails. We follow the historic “Moffat” railroad route to Corona Pass (weather permitting). Tours top out at nearly 12,000 feet with views of the entire Winter Park Resort and the Fraser Valley. Play in a large open bowl above timberline. Guides will customize your descent to the base with a blend of exciting “single track” trails through the forest, open meadows and groomed trails. This tour is perfect for the beginner to intermediate rider, and families looking to experience Colorado’s backcountry on a snowmobile. Don’t forget to bring your camera. The tour stops at several locations for a great photo opportunity.
