For the 2021-22 Winter Season, uphill skiers will be required to pre-purchase and wear an Uphill Access Armband. Armbands will be available for purchase for $25 and are valid for the full 2021-22 winter season.

All proceeds from armband sales will benefit local non-profit organizations, including:

- Grand County Search & Rescue, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization providing four-season emergency backcountry service.

- Colorado Rapid Avalanche Deployment dog teams

- Friends of Berthoud Pass.

We are grateful for all these organizations do to help those who choose to explore in our local community and are excited to offer support to these organizations. We are proud to support locally based organizations that are providing resources for search and rescue and winter mountain education.

Please note, the start of uphill access has been postponed due to limited terrain. We are looking forward to making uphill access available as soon as more terrain is available for both uphill and downhill skiers. We will reevaluate on Monday, Dec. 6 and will share updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the well-being of all of our guests.
