Ski or Snowboard equipment is required for all lessons. Helmets and eye protection are required for all participants age 3-14.

Rentals are not included with lessons.

Pro Tip lessons meet outside on the snow between the Arrow and Gemini lifts at the base of Winter Park Resort at 7:45am.Guests will need to arrive dressed and ready for their lesson as lockers will not be provided.

Guests can cancel private lessons penalty-free up to 7 days in advance of arrival or rebook for later in the season. Purchase becomes non-refundable 7 days prior to arrival but may be rebooked for a different date during the current season. Price differences will be charged. Guests who are not able to use the purchased products in the current season may request a resort credit that may be used within a year. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson will be subjected to a cancellation fee of $199 for Full and Half Day Private Lessons. Requests for modifications to dates and/or packages within 7 days of arrival can be requested by emailing private_lessons@winterparkresort.com.

Q: What if I am late for my private lesson?
A: Please contact the Private Lesson Center 970.726.1554 as soon as possible. Your instructor will wait for your arrival. Lessons will not exceed scheduled end time.

Q: Can we have skiers and snowboarders in the same private lesson?
A: No, we do not offer multi-disciple lessons.

Q: What is an appropriate tip for an instructor?
A: Tips/gratuities are not expected but very much so appreciated. Generally, 15 to 20 percent of the purchase price is suggested. Tips can be given directly to instructors by cash or Venmo. Cash and credit card tips can be left with guest services.

Q: Can I book a Telemark lesson?
A: Yes, we do offer Telemark lessons. Please contact Private Lesson Center directly at 970.726.1554. Winter Park Resort does not offer Telemark equipment rentals.

Q: Is lunch included in Full Day Lessons?
A: No, lunch is not included in any private lessons. Your full day private lesson will take a break for lunch at your discretion.
