Extremely Colorado®

There’s only one Mary Jane. The legendary lady has been known for her world-class bumps and treeskiing for generations. But it’s her laid-back, welcoming atmosphere that keeps you coming back time and again. Long, bumpy, and unabashedly challenging—but with plenty of blues to help you chill out when you need to—Mary Jane is the truly authentic Colorado experience that’ll push your limits and make you feel like a local. No matter where you’re from.

Must Do Experiences

• Moguls, moguls, moguls
• Mountain-style tailgating like only the Jane can offer
• Drinking a Mary Jane Ale at the base of the namesake
• Annual non-stop run down Outhouse, just to make sure you still can
• Taking the kids for their first runs on the Galloping Goose

Favorite Ski/Snowboard Memory My first year in Colorado started out pretty dry.  My sister and I lived together in Summit and our entire family came to visit for a week that February.  The seven of us crowded into our tiny apartment and for a week and we played cards, ate junk food, and by some miracle from Ullr, skied So. Much. Powder.
They must have brought the snow with them because it seemed like it snowed more in that one week than it had all season. Or maybe I’m exaggerating…but it was a fun week.
