Frequently Asked Questions

What is included with rentals?

Skis, poles, boots, and helmet. Or snowboard, boots, and helmet. Clothing is not included with rentals.

Can I rent just boots?

Yes. Snowboard boots can be rented, as available, at any of our retail locations. Ski boots must be rented at either the West Portal or Jane Tune Shops and will require a binding test on your skis.

I have boots, can I rent just skis / snowboard?

Yes. Start by selecting your preferred date above, and if the date is outside 72 hours and there is availability select the “(no boots)” option.

Are lessons included with a rental?

No, a lesson must be purchased separately. Prebooking lessons is highly encouraged as it will save you money and lessons sell out quickly.

Is a lift ticket included with rentals?

No, a lift ticket is not included with a rental purchase.

Where do I pick up my rentals?

Depending on what type of rentals you need, rentals can be picked up at the Winter Park base at at West Portal Rentals or Village Rentals, or at the Mary Jane base at the Jane Shop.

If you have selected "pick up the night before" for pick up, you may pick up your rentals between 2pm and 6pm the day prior.

Why do I need to prebook rentals?

Booking at least 72 hours in advance not only gets you the best rental price, you can also pick up your rentals the night before and we will pre-set your gear so that you can breeze in and out of the rental shop.
