2024 Winter Park Express Tickets Now Available

Experience the one-of-a-kind journey from Downtown Denver to the ski slopes of Winter Park Resort.

The Winter Park Express, through a partnership between Amtrak and Winter Park Resort, is a seasonal train between Denver Union Station and the doorstep of the ski resort. Travelers can take the Winter Park Express on weekends between January 12- 14 through March 29 - 31. Departures are each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. New for 2024 additional holiday services will be offered on Monday, Jan. 15 and Monday, Feb. 19, as well as two bonus Thursday roundtrips on March 14 & 21.Tickets for the 2024 Winter Park Express season are now on sale.

Travelers can customize their trip to ski or ride as many days as they’d like. Take the Friday morning train up, ski or ride for the day, the weekend, or the week, and take a return trip the same day or on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday of the following week.

PLANE TO TRAIN

Seamless rail connectivity gives travelers passage from the airport to the Winter Park Express and on to Winter Park Resort, without having to rent a car, secure a shuttle, or navigate mountain roads.

From Denver International Airport, take the A-Line to Union Station in Downtown Denver. From there, you can explore everything from 16th Street Mall to Larimer Square and stay right in the renovated Union Station, or explore many of the fine accommodations right in the heart of Downtown. Then, in the morning, exchange city thrills for mountain adventure and catch the Winter Park Express.
