Winter park SKi CRoss Team
With the ski/snowboard skills course above Snoasis, we are proud to provide programs devoted to Ski Cross. The Ski Cross Team follows and builds upon Alpine Program fundamentals. It follows the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Alpine Training System for progressions into this competitive sport. Athletes will work as a team to develop all-mountain skiing skills and racing/terrain skills to build tremendous confidence.
Creativity and fun are the goals of training using directed and un-directed free skiing, gate drills, and full-length training. The competitions of the team consist of USASA events and local U.S. Ski & Snowboard events. The fundamentals of ski racing (Giant Slalom and Slalom), along with all mountain fundamentals, are the focus throughout the season and holiday camps.
