Employee Housing

Welcome to the Winter Park Resort Employee Housing page.
This information is provided as a general guide to new employees. If you are offered and accept a position, ask your manager if housing is available for your department. They will provide you with the Employee Housing Application Form.

Fewer than 10% of resort employees live in our employee housing units. There are numerous other housing locations in and around the Winter Park area. If resort housing is full, we recommend checking for local housing options using the sources listed at the end of this page.


General Information

· Employee Housing units/houses have two or three bedrooms and shared bathrooms.
· They have kitchens with pots, pans, plates, utensils and basic cookware.
· Common living areas are furnished with couches, tables and chairs.
· Bedrooms have beds, dressers and/or closets.
· Due to the high demand for housing, bedrooms are shared, two people per room.
· Rent includes all utilities; water, gas, sewer, trash and electric.
· All locations have laundry facilities onsite or nearby.
· Please do not bring furniture or large items as space is limited.




Property Locations and Information

Fraser Condominiums

The town of Fraser is 6 miles from the resort and serviced by the shuttle year round. We have condos at multiple locations in Fraser. The condos have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchens and house 4 employees per unit (2 per bedroom).
Cost: $380 per person, per month (Shared)


Fraser Lodges
We have two lodge locations near Fraser. These are not serviced by the shuttle; tenants will need their own vehicle. The lodges are located in scenic locations a few miles from town. Bedrooms are shared, two people per room. Bathrooms are shared. There are common living areas and kitchens.
Cost: $380 per person, per month (Shared)


Tabernash Units
The town of Tabernash is 10 miles from the resort and is serviced by the shuttle in winter. The units have 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a kitchenette/living area combined. These units are small, have one queen sized bed and are reserved for couples.
Cost: $300 per person, per month (Shared)


Granby Houses
The town of Granby is 22 miles from the resort and is serviced by the shuttle in winter. The houses have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and house 6 employees per house.
Cost: $350 per person, per month (Shared)


Additional Costs:
· Prior to move-in, tenants pay one month’s rent in advance and a $400 deposit ($100 non-refundable service fee and $300 refundable security deposit).
· Rent is inclusive of all utilities

Employee Housing FAQ

Housing is assigned based on the bed allocations given to each department at the resort. If you are employed by a department that has available beds, you will get a place. If your department’s housing is full, you will be placed on the waitlist for that department. Locations are assigned by the Employee Housing Manager; your preferred location may not be available.
You must be a Winter Park Resort Full-Time employee – Seasonal or Year Round. In the winter, employee housing beds are allocated by department, so your housing is directly linked to your job.
Due to the number of employees needing housing, all bedrooms and bathrooms are shared. Houses and units are all male or all female. We are able to house couples at our Tabernash location OR two couples in one Fraser unit. If you are part of a couple, please note that on your application. If you would like to room with a friend, please note that on your application.
No pets of any kind are allowed in Employee Housing.
Bring toiletries, towels, comforter/blankets and sheets for a twin bed. You will receive your first pay check 2-3 weeks after your start date; have money for food and other essentials. Communicate your arrival date 7 days prior to arriving to Employee Housing.

The Employee Housing office is located in the Winter Park Resort Human Resources department. Open from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday and 7 days/week in the winter season.
