Should I make a reservation for my Adult Lesson?
Yes, this will ensure that you have a lesson for the day. We may fill up during Holiday/Peak times on our Adult Group Lessons.

Can my child take an Adult Lesson?
Adult Lessons are for guests 13 years and older. Adult Lessons are not as supervised as our Kids Lessons. Students are free to leave the class at any time they choose. The instructor will ask the students to come down the mountain with them at the end of the class, but do not require the student to do so. We recommend that you choose a meeting place for you and your child at the end of the day.

Where do I register for Adult Lessons?
If you are renting equipment at the resort, you may pick up your lesson voucher, lift ticket and rental equipment at Winter Park Resort Rentals. Regardless of the rental location you chose during your purchase, you may collect your rental equipment at West Portal Rentals from 8am – 5pm, or Village Rentals from 8am – 9pm.

If you do not need to rent equipment, you may pick up your lesson voucher and lift tickets at the Guest Service desks inside the Balcony House (8am-4pm), or at any Winter Park Resort Rentals location. If you have children and you are arriving the day before your lessons, the Village rentals location is recommended for all of your needs (2pm – 9pm).

Where do Adult Lessons meet?
The Ski School Bell, is located at the base of the Arrow Chairlift at the Winter Park Base.

When should I arrive at the meeting area?
All lessons meet 15 minutes prior to lesson start time, in order to discuss your goals and expectations with instructors to facilitate appropriate level placement.

What time do lessons start and end?
Full day lessons meet at 9:15am and last 5.5 hours from 9:30am to 3pm. Lunch will be provided at one of our on-mountain restaurants. Lunch locations may vary.

The Max 4 lesson program is offered daily and meets at 11:30am. Lessons run from 11:45am to 2:45pm.

Is lunch provided during Adult Lessons?
Lunch is provided during the Full Day lesson at one of our on mountain restaurants. Location and menu varies daily.

What clothing should I bring?
Weather can change quickly on the mountain, so layers are best. It is a good idea to have waterproof pants, coat and gloves, along with Sunglasses or Goggles and 1 pair of tall socks (ski or snowboard socks recommended). Also, remember to apply sunscreen. Remember – the weather at the top of the mountain will be colder than the weather at the bottom. Many of these items are available for rental or purchase at the Winter Park Resort Rentals Village location.
