What are Snow Bucks and how do I earn them?
Snow Bucks are a $250 credit that may be used toward the pre-purchase of lift tickets and/or lodging at Intrawest Resorts. You automatically earn Snow Bucks when you purchase (by September 28, 2014) a qualifying Winter Park Resort season pass product valid for the 2014-2015 winter season.
Which Winter Park season passes are eligible for Snow Bucks?
Season Passes purchased for Winter Park Resort only, in the following age categories Adult, 70+ Senior, College, Teen, and Child are eligible for $250 Snow Bucks. Frequency products, such as the Winter Park Four Pass, and 4by40 Pass are not eligible for Snow Bucks. Multi-mountain passes including the Rocky Mountain Super Pass PLUS, Rocky Mountain Super Pass and Intrawest Passport are not eligible for Snow Bucks. The following season passes are also excluded from Snow Bucks eligibility; Patriot Child, 5 & under, Kids-Ski-Free complimentary pass, Employee, Volunteer, Employee Dependent, and Industry Discounted and Complimentary passes.
Where can I spend my Snow Bucks?
You can spend Snow Bucks at the Intrawest-owned/operated resorts listed below, excluding the Resort for which your pass is purchased. Snow Bucks may only be spent at Intrawest-owned or managed lodging and on some types of lift products. Intrawest Resorts included in the Snow Bucks program: Stratton, Mont Tremblant, Snowshoe, Winter Park, Steamboat, CMH, and Honua Kai. For example, if you buy a qualifying Winter Park Resort Season Pass, you can spend up to $250 in Snow Bucks on a room at Honua Kai. At CMH, you can spend them on any package. Winter Park Resort season pass holders may spend their Snow Bucks at any Intrawest Resort listed above, other than Winter Park Resort. Snow Bucks can only be used by calling the Call Center for the resort you wish to visit.
What types of products can I spend Snow Bucks on?
You may use your Snow Bucks toward pre-purchased lift tickets, valid any day during the 2014-2015 winter season and sold through a resort’s Call Center, restrictions may apply. You may also use your Snow Bucks toward the pre-purchase of lodging accommodations during the 2014-2015 winter season, also sold through the resort’s Call Center. Lodging accommodations vary by resort, blackout dates are in effect and restrictions apply. Snow Bucks may be used for multiple transactions at multiple resorts. Snow Bucks must be applied 48 hours in advance of arrival. Snow Bucks may not be applied to existing reservations, valid for new reservations only.
Can I use Snow Bucks on single resort pass products?
No, the Snow Bucks may not be used toward a season pass or frequency card purchase at any resort.
Can I spend $250 Snow Bucks to buy an Intrawest Passport™?
No, the Snow Bucks cannot be spent on an Intrawest Passport™ because this is a multi-resort pass product.
How do I redeem my $250 Snow Bucks?
Qualifying guests will receive notification in early October. This notification will allow adult guests to book applicable Intrawest lodging and/or lift tickets, at least 48 hours in advance of their stay, by contacting individual resort Call Centers.
What are the valid dates? Is there a date on which the Snow Bucks expire?
Snow Bucks can be redeemed beginning 10/1/2014, and can be spent during the 2014-15 winter season for lodging stays and lift tickets 11/1/14 through 4/30/15. Note that each of our resorts open and close at different times depending on weather and snow conditions. Any unused Snow Bucks will be forfeited by the end of the season (varies by each resort) or by 4/30/2015.
What if I have used my Snow Bucks to buy lodging or tickets and I need to cancel. What happens to my Snow Bucks?
Our Call Center representatives will evaluate if your transaction requires any debit or credit of additional Snow Bucks, based on the cancel policies for lodging and lift tickets purchased and explained by agent / accepted by guest at the time of original reservation.
Can I use Snow Bucks at the ticket window to buy a lift ticket?
No, Snow Bucks may only be applied with a 48 hour advance purchase of lift tickets through a Call-Center.
Is the credit valid on promotions or other discounts? Meaning is it combinable with already discounted lifts, lodging or rental promos? What about frequency cards or pass products?
Snow Bucks credit is valid on applicable lodging and/or lift tickets only. Applicable products vary by resort.
Are Snow Bucks transferable?
No, Snow Bucks are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash and are forfeited if not used by the expiration date. Snow Bucks earned within one family may be combined in order to cover full amount of reservation in one transaction.
Can the Snow Bucks be spent across multiple resorts?
Snow Bucks may be spent across multiple resorts, and may be used for multiple purchases throughout the season.
What if I buy single resort season pass products for my entire family? Can I use the Snow Bucks then at multiple resorts?
Yes. There are no rules that restrict everyone in a family to spend their Snow Bucks at one time at one resort. For example - you are a family of two parents and two teen children who have each purchased a qualifying season pass valid at Winter Park Resort for the 2014-2015 season, if you want to spend some of your Snow Bucks on lift tickets at Steamboat in December and some your Snow Bucks on lodging at Snowshoe in February, then combine the remaining balances for lodging and tickets at Stratton in March, then you can.
