Join us for any or all of our single or multi-day ramp camps at Bald Eagle Lake in Steamboat Springs. Our days begin with a light warm up and then some trampoline work on the facility’s in-ground tramps. When we are warmed up and ready to go, we get geared up and hit the ramps until athletes are too tired, cold, and/or hungry to jump any more. Then, we generally sit by the lake and enjoy the beauty of our awesome state, and eventually get geared up for a second session of jumping in the afternoon.
What to bring: Ski boots, old skis (they won’t slide well on snow after they slide on the ramp surface), helmet (with ear covers), PFD, sunscreen, lots of water or sports drink, picnic lunch, and a great attitude. Wetsuits or drysuits are recommended, and will greatly increase both your ramper’s comfort level and length of sessions.
Directions: As you approach Steamboat Springs from Rabbit Ears Pass, you will go by Haystack Golfcourse, and the left hand turn for highway 131. Just past the storage facility on your left, the road widens, and right as the middle lane begins, you will see the lefthand turn in to Bald Eagle Lake. This is a private water ski lake, and the owner is generous enough to donate use of his land and lake for this very unique ski training. Please obey posted speed limits on the road (10 mph). The ramp facility is at the very end of the Bald Eagle Lake access road. Park in the parking lot after the wooden bridge, before you drive up over the hill to the ramps. If you bring your dog, please leave it in the parking lot, as they are not allowed by the lake.
