Devo Freeski Team

Freesky Development Program Header Image

AGES 10+

The Devo Freeski Team is a new addition to the Freeski team providing the younger skier the opportunity to get in on the action of slopestyle, half pipe, and big mountain. The program focuses on fundamentals influenced by the terrain parks and demanding terrain offered at Winter Park and Mary Jane.  These young skiers spend most of their time in the smaller parks (Rerailer-Ashcat) learning the basic skills of sliding rails and boxes and proper form for jumping and learning air awareness. It is also a great place for these athletes to learn how to set and accomplish their goals.

While they will spend the majority of their time in the parks, when the snow permits, they will ski the more advanced terrain to help improve their all mountain skiing abilities.  This is a great start for the aspiring younger freeskier that wants to learn terrain park skills before joining the competitive Freeski Team.

Devo Freeski athletes will be encouraged to try the fun, local competition, KING of The GROMS (KOG) and with a coach’s recommendation the USASA event around the state.  Athletes doing any USASA events will need to register for a license at
