Winter Park Resort offers a limited number of employee housing options and styles, including condominiums, hotel rooms, and apartment units. Monthly rent ranges from $265 - $450 per person, including utilities. Rent is based on unit type, size, and bed configuration. A security deposit of $250-$400 is required in advance to reserve a place in housing. First month's rent is required either in advance or immediately upon move in. All employee housing units are furnished. Some units are within walking distance of the resort base area, while others, but not all, are served by the free local shuttle bus system (winter only).
Applications for employee housing may be submitted after you have been offered and have accepted a position at Winter Park Resort. Your hiring manager will provide you with the application.

The Winter Park Resort Employee Housing office is located on the first floor of the Administration building at the base of the resort. The office is open Monday – Friday between 8:30am and 4:30 pm year round.

Employee Condos Winter Park Resort owns and manages 15 condominiums in the town of Fraser, located approximately 5 miles from the base of the resort.
About the Units
Most condominium units are approximately 800 sq ft., 2 bedroom/2 bath, and modestly furnished. The units usually house 4 employees. Tenants are responsible to furnish their own food, bedding, linens, and other personal items. Some units include on-site laundry facilities, while others are within a short distance to a laundromat in town.
Monthly rent during the winter season is $325 a month per person. While most utilities are included in rent, tenants should inquire before move-in about any added costs, such as cable and internet.
Condominium units in Fraser are not directly served by the free resort shuttle bus system however they are all within walking distance of a bus stop. Schedules vary based on peak and off-peak periods. Here is a link to the Winter Park Bus Schedule. The bus only runs during the winter ski season. The bus does not operated during summer months.
About the Town
Located roughly 5 miles north of Winter Park Resort, Fraser is a historic railroad town of about 1,200 residents. Town services include a large grocery store, several restaurants/bars, a public library, Amtrak station, gas/convenience stations, and a state-of-the-art Recreation Center.

Fireside Inn The Fireside in is an 11 unit, one-level hotel located in the town of Tabernash, approximately 9 miles from the base of Winter Park Resort. This Inn includes small suite-style motel rooms with kitchenettes, wifi, and a common room which provides extra gathering space, couches, games, and satellite TV, and is our lowest-cost option for employee housing.
About the Units
Fireside Inn units are 400 sq. ft. mini-suites which include a kitchenette, one bathroom, and a bedroom with two double beds. Units generally house 2 tenants. The common room has a laundry room with washers and dryers.
Monthly rent is $265 per person, based on double occupancy, which includes electric, gas, water, and wifi.
The Fireside Inn is not served by any free public transportation. Tenants living at The Fireside Inn will need to provide their own transportation to and from work.
About the Town
Approximately 9 miles from the resort base, Tabernash is a very small “strip town” along Highway 40 with limited services. Tabernash offers a Post Office, one restaurant, and one convenience/liquor store. Rental rates may be subject to change without notice. Winter Park Mountain Lodge Located directly across Highway 40 from Winter Park Resort, The Winter Park Mountain Lodge (WPML) is a 58 privately-owned hotel which serves both resort guests and employees. 58 rooms on the 6th, 7th, and 8th floors of WPML are leased to Winter Park Resort as dedicated employee housing. WPML offers a restaurant and a brew pub serving both breakfast and dinner menus. The pool/spa areas of the hotel are not available to employee housing tenants.
About the Units
WPML hotel rooms are 1-room units which can be set up for single or double occupancy. Each room includes one bathroom, 1 or 2 beds, TV, small dresser, table, and chairs. . Tenants may purchase dorm-sized refrigerators or microwaves for personal use. Rooms do not have kitchen facilities. The primary advantage of WPML hotel room housing is the close proximity and easy access to the base of the resort.
Single rooms rent for $435 a month. Shared (Double) rooms rent for $275 per person per month. Rent includes basic cable and wifi and all utilities. Coin-operated laundry facilities are available on the 7th and 8th floors.
WPML is served in winter by the free, local shuttle bus system and s also within walking distance to the Village Cabriolet (gondola).
Special hotel restrictions
Because WPML is a working guest hotel, quiet hours must be observed between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., and certain common areas are off-limits to employee housing tenants. Special care must be taken by employee housing tenants to reduce any negative impact to the hotel guests’ experience in this “shared environment.” Rental rates may be subject to change without notice.
